Living in the City, Trapped in a Cult
Like living in a city, bound by its walls,
Our minds trapped in cults, controlled by their calls.
Its skyscrapers tower, dictating our view,
Its busy streets limit what we can do.
Just like the city, these cults restrict our sight,
They tell us what’s true, and guide us through the night.
We’re forced to conform, to fit in their mold,
Our thoughts and beliefs, by their leaders, controlled.
But in this city, as in life, there’s a choice,
To break free from the cult, to raise up our voice.
To challenge the norms, to question what’s true,
To seek out our own path, and find our own view.
For just like the city, we can choose our way,
We can rise above it, and find light of day.
We can cast off the chains, that bind us in place,
And break free from the cult, to see life’s true face.
So let us not be ruled by these walls of fear,
Let us stand tall, and spread our wings to steer.
Let us embrace the world, with open minds and hearts,
And find the freedom that lies within our parts.
